In June, our OMGD dinner at Kappo Takashi brought members into a more intimate world: rare sake, Champagne, and kappo-style Japanese craftsmanship. The evening had the feeling of a private discovery — precise, seasonal, and quietly theatrical.
Chef Takashi Sasaki and his team offered a menu shaped by exceptional seafood and ingredients, many connected to his home prefecture of Iwate, while carefully selected sake pairings gave the evening its distinct rhythm and depth.
